Turbosound TFM122M 350W 12 inch 2-way Flashline Series Passive Stage Monitor

Description

Passive Coaxial Stage Monitor for Serious Touring Rigs

If you want the amazing flexibility and precise sound of a Turbosound Flashline stage monitor that you can integrate with the amp system you already have, then you’re looking at the right tool for the job. This TFM122M includes Turbosound’s amazing coaxial speaker system, which focuses highs and lows so that they come from the same point, dramatically improving sound consistency across the stage while decreasing the size of the cabinet. And with two power-handling modes, this TFM122M is ready to integrate easily into your monitoring system.

Pro-quality coaxial speakers deliver consistent sound

Unlike typical monitor wedges, which use either a single driver or a traditional low- and high-frequency driver layout, the TFM122M includes a custom Turbosound coaxial driver. This speaker includes a 12″ main driver with a carbon fiber cone and neodymium magnet, at the center of which is a 1.4″ titanium dome compression driver. Sweetwater sound-reinforcement techs and performers love this kind of speaker, since all the audio comes from a single point. This ensures that you’ll hear the same thing, no matter where you are onstage.

  • Coaxial speakers deliver centralized sound for consistent monitoring
  • 12″ neodymium-coil driver with carbon fiber cone delivers powerful lows
  • Titanium-dome 1.4″ compression driver reproduces smooth highs

Two power modes provide maximum setup flexibility

Every live sound monitoring system is a little bit different, and to ensure total setup flexibility, Turbosound outfitted their TFM122M with a 2-mode input. A simple switch lets you select from Passive mode and Bi-Amp mode. Passive mode is a more traditional full-range setup, which runs the entire input through the TFM122M’s internal crossover for automatic frequency distribution. Alternatively, you can set the TFM122M to Bi-Amp mode, which divides the speakON input into two channels, allowing you to send separate feeds to the high- and low-frequency drivers, controlling the balance from your mixer instead.

  • 2 power-handling modes offer extreme monitoring setup flexibility
  • Passive mode runs full-range audio through the onboard crossover
  • Bi-Amp mode accepts separate high- and low-frequency signals
