The Turbosound TCX82-R is perfectly suited for a broad range of music and live sound reinforcement applications—either indoors or out—the Turbosound TCX82-R feature its 800 Watt compact 8″ passive two way loudspeaker. It consists of a trapezoidal enclosure housing a high-excursion 8″ reflex-loaded low frequency (LF) driver with low-mass voice coil for enhanced transient response, plus a 1″ high-temperature dome compression driver mounted on a rotatable converging elliptical waveguide, which delivers a 90° horizontal x 60° vertical dispersion pattern. The waveguide allows the rotating of the horizontal and vertical dispersion patterns to offer a smooth wave front, while providing outstanding pattern control. This feature is especially useful for retaining wide horizontal dispersion when the enclosure is mounted horizontally, due to ceiling height restrictions.

The Turbosound TCX82-R cabinet is built and constructed from ½” (12mm) birch plywood, and is finished in hard-wearing semi-matt black textured paint and includes internal M10 threaded rigging points for use in permanent installation. The rear panel of this Turbosound TCX82-R features a sealed, captive-cable and gland for added protection from the elements. When it’s permanently installed, this Turbosound TCX82-R presents a discreet appearance with no visible side handles for visually unobtrusive loudspeaker arrays. Also, it has a weatherized paint, zinc-plated grill with outdoor powder-coat, and weather-resistant-coated drivers deliver an iP54-rated package that not only provides class-leading performance, but maintains its attractive appearance for many years.
